Shipping and payment
In this section you will find all the necessary information about delivery options and payment methods for your orders. Here you will find out what carriers we offer, what the conditions of free shipping are, and what payment methods you can use for fast and convenient shopping.
Transport
You will be notified by email within 15 minutes of your order being placed. We will immediately pack the ordered goods in our stock and send them by the chosen method of transport. If the goods are from a central warehouse, we will immediately place them for transport to our warehouse and as soon as they arrive, we will dispatch them immediately. We will inform you of the dispatch of the goods by e-mail, in which we will provide all the necessary details. You can realistically expect your package to arrive within 1-4 working days of dispatch, depending on the shipping load.
Prices and delivery methods
You can have your order delivered throughout the Czech Republic. As a method of delivery you can choose personal collection at ILUMIX light shop, personal collection at a partner collection point of the network Zásilkovna or GLS shipping service.
Personal collection at the branch
Any order can be picked up in person at our showroom in Karlovy Vary, Holečkova 368/4. In case of order, please wait for a message that the order is processed and ready for collection.
Transport service GLS
- You can track your shipment online using the code sent with your order, GLS delivers packages on weekdays from 8am to 6pm.
- On the day of delivery, GLS will contact you by e-mail and text message so that you can specify the details of the delivery - time of delivery, change of address, etc.
- In the case of cash on delivery, you can pay the amount of the parcel in cash or by credit card directly to the driver when handing over the parcel.
Personal collection in the network Zásilkovna
The partner network of Zásilkovna has more than 7000 delivery points, you can have your order delivered to one of them.
- You can track your order online.
- You will be notified by mobile app, SMS and email when your order arrives at the collection point, from this point you have 7 days to collect.
- You can pick up your order by password, SMS or email.
- You can extend the collection period by SMS up to 21 days.
Acceptance and Claims
If you discover a defect, damage or incompleteness of the shipment when you take delivery, you must immediately draw up a damage report on the spot with the dispatch operator or courier (the operator is obliged to keep it with him), which both parties will sign and the recipient will keep a copy of it with him. No account will be taken of any subsequent claims caused by shipping!
Payment
You can pay for your order by cash or card, cash on delivery, or through an online payment gateway, which includes online card payment and fast online payments from most banks. For B2B partners, we offer the option of payment by bank transfer with invoice due by agreement.
Cash on delivery
You pay for your order by cash or credit card directly to the driver when you pick up your package.
The GLS driver will contact you by phone on the day of delivery to arrange the details of the handover, tell you the approximate time of delivery and the amount of the cash on delivery. You will pay cash or credit card directly to the driver upon receipt of the shipment.
Online payment
The Shopify Payments gateway is a system developed for online stores. It provides simple, fast and secure online payments. Shopify Payments brings together payment methods of most banks operating on the Czech market.
Payment progress
The money is transferred to the seller's account within minutes. This allows us to ship the goods faster. The security of the transaction is guaranteed by your bank, because the payment is made directly in your online banking.
Online card payment via Shopify Payments
The use of VISA, MasterCard, Amex, etc. is a convenient and safe way to make cashless payments. Unlike ATM withdrawals, this method of payment is free of bank charges. To pay by card online, you must have an activated card for this - check with your bank.
You give your credit card details directly to the bank, not to the retailer. No employee has access to your payment card details.
We accept VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard and AMEX credit cards.
What to do in case of problems?
In the order form, select the payment method - credit card. After submitting your order you will be redirected to our processing bank where you will be asked to enter your card details:
credit card number
card expiry date
CVV2/CVC2 - the last three numbers pre-printed on the signature strip of your card
You enter these data directly to the bank, which ensures an unbreakable encrypted data transmission and only tells us the result of the authorisation and thus instructs us to process the order. This eliminates the possibility of your credit card being misused by the entity from which you are purchasing the goods and the free transmission of unprotected data on a public computer network.
What to do in case of problems?
If the bank does not confirm your card payment to us, it may be for the following reasons.
The credit card details were not filled in correctly.
You don't have enough funds on your card.
You have exhausted your limit for internet transactions.
Your card cannot be used for online payments - contact your bank to have this type of transaction authorised.
Apple Pay
Apple Pay offers an easy, secure and private way to pay on Apple devices without the need for a physical card or cash. Just keep your payment card on the device you want to make payments from.
Google Pay
Google Pay is a service that provides an easy and fast way to make contactless payments like a regular credit card. To use the payment method, you must have a payment card saved in the Google Store app, a saved card in your Google account or within Chrome.
