Bomma Shibari is an exclusive pendant light from the Czech company Bomma, combining design elegance with first-class craftsmanship. The luminaire is made of high quality crystal blown glass, inside which is an elegant socket for an E27 bulb. The name Shibari refers to the mysterious language of rope knots, where each knot represents a unique form of communication with the environment. This sophisticated collection is inspired by the Japanese technique of knotting, known as Kinbaku, which means the beauty of tight knotting. Within Shibari, crystal centers are placed in the middle of the knots, drawing our attention and creating variable compositions.
The design of this unique collection bears the signature of the talented designer Kateřina Handlová.

Kateřina Handlová, a talented Czech designer, is the author of the Shibari lighting for Bomma, which reflects her distinctive approach to design that combines aesthetics with functionality. The name Shibari refers to a traditional Japanese weaving technique, which is evident in the lamp's design in the finely woven, interlocking elements that give the lamp dynamism and sophistication. This lamp features a minimalist style with a touch of elegance, and its shapes are reminiscent of knot patterns that create a sense of movement and connection. Handlová uses quality materials and precise craftsmanship, resulting in an object that is not only visually appealing but also functional.
