Tatawin is a collection of lamps designed by Adolfo Abejón. The shape of the shade is reminiscent of the upper part of the characteristic houses in Tataouine, a town in the south-east of Tunisia. Tatawin is a pendant light with a glossy glass shade and is designed for a light source with an E27 base. The collection is available in several variations depending on the number and size of the luminaires and offers a choice of two shade colours - black and white. The lighting solution is designed for global markets and is compatible with mains voltages 110-120 V and 220-240 V.

Minimalist luminaire Tatawin

The design of the Tatawin luminaire is designed with an emphasis on elegance and minimalism, referencing the traditional architecture of Tataouine. The luminaire is suspended from fixed cables that allow for height adjustment. The main feature is a shiny glass shade in a shape reminiscent of the upper part of traditional houses, available in black and white. The luminaire is designed for a light source with an E27 base, allowing a choice of different types of bulbs. The canopy, attached to the ceiling, conceals the electrical connections and matches the design of the luminaire. This design is ideal for modern interiors and is easily adaptable to different spaces thanks to the availability of different sizes and colour options.

Variability and flexibility of the Tatawin luminaire

Tatawin is a flexible family of luminaires that offers several options that can be adapted to individual needs and spaces. Variants are available with one, three, five or seven lights, suspended from a multi-axial ceiling rose. This rosette allows the adjustment of any length and distance between the lights, providing the possibility of creating original and dynamic groupings of lights that fit perfectly into any space. The luminaires are also available in two sizes, providing further customisation options for different interiors and requirements. This variability gives the possibility of not only functional but also aesthetic lighting customisation.

Adolfo Abejón is an industrial designer whose work is based on functionality, aesthetic purity and timelessness. Through his studio, he offers industrial design, consulting and creative direction services, with an emphasis on understanding his clients' needs to create tailor-made products and solutions for them. Having worked with leading brands such as PUIG, Etnia Barcelona, ELISAVA Escuela Universitaria, Faro Barcelona and Tous, his work seeks new means of expression in contemporary design. He designs furniture, lighting and everyday objects with an almost sculptural presence, combining conceptual depth with precise craftsmanship. Abejón believes that quality and honesty are essential qualities for design to stand the test of time, and it is this principle that is reflected in his minimalist, functional and visually striking pieces that transcend ephemeral trends.
