The Mar collection of pendant lights, designed by Héctor Serrano, is inspired by the shell shapes of sea urchins. The shade is made from recycled fishing nets, giving it a characteristic green hue. It is a combination of sustainability and 3D printing. The Mar luminaire is designed for E27 LED bulbs and is available in three sizes. They can be placed individually or combined with each other to create unique compositions that illuminate a space with style and an eco-friendly approach. Inspiration by the sea

The inspiration for the Mar luminaire comes from nature, specifically from the shapes and structures of sea urchins, whose characteristic texture and organic shapes are translated into the design of the luminaire. This design evokes a sense of movement and dynamism, much like sea urchins in their natural habitat. In addition to the natural inspiration, the Mar luminaire also reflects an ecological approach, as the shade is made from recycled fishing nets, drawing attention to the issue of marine pollution. 3D printing technology allows the creation of complex shapes without the use of traditional moulds, combining the aesthetics of nature with modern technology and contributing to environmental protection.

Mar luminaire - available in three sizes

The Mar luminaire is available in three sizes, allowing flexibility in choosing the ideal lighting for different spaces. The smaller versions can be great for illuminating smaller rooms or as part of a composition next to a mirror, while the larger sizes can create a striking feature in spaces with higher ceilings or in open spaces where stronger lighting is needed. Thanks to the different sizes, Mar luminaires can be combined to create unique lighting compositions that enhance the personality of a space and add visual dynamism. Designed by Héctor Serrano

Héctor Serrano, a renowned designer known for his creativity and emphasis on sustainability, created the Tierra, Mar and Aire collection as an expression of his deep connection to nature and ecological principles. Each light is inspired by the basic elements - earth, sea and air - which is reflected in their simple yet striking shapes. Serrano chose to use 3D printing, which allows for design flexibility without the need for molds, while minimizing material waste. This innovative production not only promotes sustainability, but gives each luminaire a unique character. As a result, lighting in this collection not only illuminate a space beautifully, but also convey a strong message of responsibility to our planet.
