The shade of the Saigon luminaire is made of papyrus, a natural material that is processed into thin strips that are carefully interwoven and fixed to the supporting structure. The surface of the papyrus retains a natural texture, giving the luminaire an authentic and handcrafted look. Designed by Nahtrang

The Nahtrang design studio was founded in 2004 by Daniel Vila and Ester Pujol, graduates in industrial design from the Escola Massana. They share a passion for design and teaching - they are lecturers at Eina and Elisava. Their work, which has won awards such as the Delta Award for the Volta light and the NYC X DESIGN Award, combines functionality with a minimalist aesthetic and has appeared in prestigious publications such as Wallpaper and Metropolis. The studio works with both domestic and international clients, with the name Nahtrang referring to the Vietnamese city of Nha Trang, which has become an unexpected source of inspiration and conversation.
