Aim by Flos is a designer LED pendant light with an orientable body that allows you to direct the light as you wish. It is available in two sizes - the larger Aim variant and the smaller Aim Small. The body of the lighting is made of painted aluminium sheet, the shade of photo-etched optical polycarbonate and the inner reflector of photo-etched ABS (for the larger version) or polycarbonate (for the smaller version). The power supply is directly from the mains and the LED source is dimmable with a TRIAC dimmer. The luminaire is equipped with a 9 metre cable that allows hanging up to 3 metres from the ceiling. The luminaire can be supplied with a multiple rosette with a capacity to connect up to five Aim or Aim Small luminaires and the TRIAC dimmer mentioned above.

Iconic design by the Bouroullecs

Aim was designed by renowned French designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, who are known for their unconventional approach to form and function. The aim was to create lighting that would look organic and natural - as if it were hanging from the ceiling as freely as a liana. This makes Aim not only a luminaire but also a distinctive sculptural element in the interior.

Maximum freedom in installation

One of the most striking features of lighting Aim is the extremely long 9 metre power cable, which allows for creative and variable suspension of lighting up to 3 metres from the ceiling. The user is thus free to determine the height, direction and composition of multiple luminaires at once. In addition, light installations of up to five Aim or Aim Small luminaires can be easily created using the multiple rosettes.

Designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec

Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec are French designers whose work is characterised by a fine aesthetic, precise craftsmanship and an emphasis on functionality. Since the late 1990s, they have been among the most influential figures in contemporary design.
