A luminaire designed for the future

The Bellhop Wall Up is an example of sustainable design - no adhesive is used in its production, allowing for easy disassembly, replacement of parts and recycling of materials. This makes light "future-proof", i.e. future-ready not only in terms of design, but also in terms of repairability and product life cycle. In addition, the LED module with a lifetime of over 50,000 hours can be easily replaced without having to replace the entire light.

Colour accent and technological precision

At first glance, Bellhop Wall Up looks like a playful decorative element that brightens up the wall with colour, but hides sophisticated optics beneath the surface. A special texture on the diffuser surface ensures even light dispersion, while the new generation of Flos optical technology directs the light efficiently upwards. The combination of pastel shades and precision engineering makes this lighting the ideal choice for modern interiors looking for a balance between aesthetics and performance.

Designed by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby

Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby (both born in 1969) set up their design studio in East London in 1996 after studying architecture together at the Royal College of Art. Since then, they have pushed the boundaries of design and contributed to the education of a new generation of designers through their lectures, workshops and studio practice. Their approach is based on experimentation, innovation and exploration of materials and colour. They work across disciplines - from architecture and interiors to sculpture, product and exhibition design. In 2004 they were awarded the Jerwood Award, in 2007 they were appointed Royal Designers for Industry (RDI) and in 2013 they were awarded the Order of the British Empire for services to design. Their work is included in the permanent collections of institutions such as the V&A and Design Museum in London, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Olympic Museum in Switzerland and the Vitra Design Museum in Germany.
