Designed by Philippe Starck in 2015, the Bon Jour portable Table light from Italian brand Flos is a cordless table providing direct light with a sleek and modern look. The lighting body is made with injection moulding technology and is completed with a transparent PMMA diffuser. It uses innovative Edge Lighting technology to provide even and pleasant illumination. The lamp has a battery life of 6 to 24 hours and recharges via USB-C or wirelessly using Qi technology. There is an optical sensor on the base with a four-stage dimming function and three-stage light temperature adjustment (2200K, 2700K and 3000K). A 120cm USB-C charging cable is also included. Bon Jour Unplugged is a playful and flexible variant of the Bon Jour range, ideal for modern interiors without the need for a power cord.

Edge Lighting Technology

The Bon Jour luminaire uses Edge Lighting technology, which allows for an extremely thin lighting design while maintaining an even and high quality light output. This technology ensures not only aesthetic purity of design, but also effective light diffusion without glare, making it an ideal choice for pleasant evening lighting.

USB-C and wireless charging

One of the biggest advantages of Bon Jour Unplugged is the ability to charge via USB-C cable or wirelessly via Qi technology. This makes light extremely flexible - you can easily take it anywhere without the constraints of cables, while maintaining high performance and user comfort with up to 24 hours of battery life.

Designed by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby

Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby (both born in 1969) set up their design studio in East London in 1996 after studying architecture together at the Royal College of Art. Since then, they have pushed the boundaries of design and contributed to the education of a new generation of designers through their lectures, workshops and studio practice. Their approach is based on experimentation, innovation and exploration of materials and colour. They work across disciplines - from architecture and interiors to sculpture, product and exhibition design. In 2004 they were awarded the Jerwood Award, in 2007 they were appointed Royal Designers for Industry (RDI) and in 2013 they were awarded the Order of the British Empire for services to design. Their work is included in the permanent collections of institutions such as the V&A and Design Museum in London, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Olympic Museum in Switzerland and the Vitra Design Museum in Germany.
