Designed by Philippe Starck in 1996, the Romeo Moon pendant light from Italian brand Flos is a timeless look at everyday objects thanks to its minimalist elegance and subtle light diffusion. The luminaire provides diffused lighting and consists of an inner diffuser made of acid-etched pressed borosilicate glass and an outer shade made of pressed clear glass. A transparent polycarbonate support structure, a moulded polycarbonate dust cap and a ceiling rose in white ABS plastic with galvanised steel handle complete the design . Suspension is by means of a steel cable. The luminaire is available in two sizes and is designed for a bulb with E27 base.

Philippe Starck (*1949) is one of the most important and influential French designers today, whose work encompasses furniture, interiors, architecture, lighting and everyday objects. He is renowned for his ability to combine functionality with artistic flair, using unconventional materials to create surprising shapes and innovative solutions. His designs are often playful, sometimes ironic, but always ingeniously thought out. He has worked with prestigious brands such as Kartell, Flos, Vitra, Cassina and Duravit, for whom he has designed iconic products, including the famous Louis Ghost transparent chair and unique lighting fixtures.
