CRI >90 and IP40 protection

With a colour rendering index (CRI) > 90, the Izar pendant luminaire provides exceptionally true and natural colour rendering, which is crucial in spaces where accurate visual reproduction is important, such as kitchens, offices or interior design spaces. The high CRI ensures that the colours of objects look vivid and realistic even under artificial lighting. The IP40 rating provides basic protection against solid particles larger than 1mm, meaning the luminaire is protected against dust and small dirt particles, but is not intended for use in wet or dusty environments. This level of protection is ideal for normal interior applications where there is no risk of direct contact with water.

Elegant and functional design of Izar III

The construction of the Izar III pendant luminaire is designed with an emphasis on simplicity, elegance and functionality. The body of the luminaire consists of a solid and lightweight construction made of high quality materials, with side panels available in black or white for easy matching with the interior. The acrylic glass shade ensures even light diffusion and high scratch resistance. The luminaire is suspended on thin, strong cables that ensure stability and visual lightness, complemented by a transparent power cord that blends unobtrusively into the surroundings and does not disturb the overall design of the space.

Designed by René Šulc

Czech designer of international stature René Šulc (*1978) graduated from the University of Applied Arts in Prague and the Department of Design in Zlín, focusing on product design, lighting, furniture, toys and medical devices. His clean, functional and often organically inspired designs have gained popularity with Czech and international companies, and in 2006 he founded his own studio, Inveno, where he further develops industrial design. His work draws inspiration from natural shapes, everyday sensations and the processes of growth, and although his work combines aesthetics with practicality, he himself remains one of the most distinctive figures in contemporary Czech design.
