Minimalist luminaire with Czech design

The interesting feature of the Juno pendant lamp from the Czech manufacturer Lucis is its ability to create distinctive visual compositions thanks to the combination of different colour variants and sizes, which makes it not only a functional lighting, but also a design element that can define the character of the entire interior. The inspiration for its shape was the minimalist Scandinavian style, but designer René Šulc enriched it with the playfulness of colours typical of Czech design. In addition, the "fishbone" version with a textile cable refers to the retro aesthetic. Juno thus combines tradition with innovation and proves that even a simple shape can be exceptional.

Universal light source E27 for Juno

The E27 base light source of the Juno luminaire from Lucis is designed to provide maximum flexibility in the choice of bulb according to lighting requirements. The E27 socket, also known as the "big Edison thread", is a standard and widely used thread type that allows the use of different types of bulbs such as conventional incandescent, halogen, compact energy saving bulbs or modern LED bulbs. The luminaire supports a maximum wattage of 60 W for the smaller version and 100 W for the larger one, which allows to achieve sufficient light intensity even for larger spaces. Thanks to this socket, the bulbs can be easily changed without the need to intervene in the luminaire, making it easy to maintain and adapt the lighting environment. It also has the advantage of being able to select the chromaticity temperature from warm white (2700 K) to cool white (6500 K), and different degrees of dimmability depending on the bulb used. In addition, the combination with the luminaire's coloured reflectors makes it possible to influence the atmosphere of the space - from soft ambient light to intense direct lighting.

Šulc emphasises not only the visual aspect, but also the practical side of lighting - easy maintenance, variability and the possibility of individual adaptation to the environment.
