The WIRO Globe pendant light by Wever & Ducré combines industrial style with modern elegance through its spherical structure made of fine steel wires that perfectly frame the light source and create a harmonious play of light and shadows. This minimalist yet striking piece is designed for decorative E27 filament bulbs and is perfectly suited for both residential spaces (kitchens, dining rooms and living rooms) and commercial interiors (bars, cafes and reception areas). Offering a variety of sizes and designs in black painted steel, all models are available in two suspension lengths (2600mm and 6000mm) to easily accommodate different ceiling heights. The spherical shape of the WIRO Globe lighting creates a more versatile and softer lighting ambience than the square variants, while still maintaining the clean lines and industrial character typical of the entire WIRO collection.

The WIRO Globe pendant light by Wever & Ducré is the perfect combination of industrial aesthetics and organic shape. The luminaire is available in two proven suspension lengths: a standard 2600mm version for normal ceiling heights and an extended 6000mm version for high loft and commercial spaces. Industrial elegance in a perfect spherical shape

The perfect spherical construction of the WIRO Globe is made of fine but strong steel wires that elegantly intertwine into a harmonious spherical shape. This open design transmits light evenly in all directions, giving the decorative E27 filament bulbs room to fully unfold their charm. The steel wires are painted in carbon black for a modern minimalist look. The spherical shape of lighting brings soft, omnidirectional lighting to the interior and acts as a design element with timeless elegance.

Designed by Bernd Steinhuber

Bernd Steinhuber is an Austrian designer and architect born in 1972. He started his career by studying architecture at the Technical University of Graz. In 1999 he co-founded the architectural studio INNOCAD in Graz together with Martin Lesjak, Andreas Reiter and Peter Schwaiger. Since 2009, he has been running his own studio Atelier Bernd Steinhuber in Vienna, where he works in product design, graphics and architecture. He also designs products for the renowned Belgian brand Wever & Ducré, including the WIRO collection. "The most important thing for me is the message the product communicates," he says.
