The Atrax Floor light from the Italian brand Zava, designed by BMB Progetti, is a minimalist yet visually striking element from the Atrax collection. The Atrax Floor light impresses at first sight with its austere elegance, which draws inspiration from industrial design. The simple metal profile with clean lines refers to technical precision and functionality, while the spherical diffuser acts as a subtle contrast to the otherwise raw look of the design. This dialogue between the hard material and the soft light creates a harmony that is perfectly suited to both minimalist and eclectic interiors.

Design with respect for space

Atrax in the floor version impresses not only by its appearance, but also by its ability to adapt to different spatial conditions. Thanks to its slim silhouette and subtle light emission, it does not overpower other elements in the room, but complements them naturally. The designers at BMB Progetti have paid great attention to proportions, making the lighting not only a functional object, but also a sensitively designed element that respects the character of the interior and does not disturb its atmosphere.

Designed by Franco Zavarise

Franco Zavarise, born in 1960 in Mareeba, Australia, is the visionary founder of the Italian brand ZAVA, which he founded in 1982 with the aim of turning his passion for light and working with metal into unique lighting. After completing his technical studies, he decided to design lighting for his friends, which became the germ of the entire brand. From the very beginning, Zavarise combines his deep experience in metalworking with an instinctive sense of design. At ZAVA's headquarters, traditional craftsmanship meets state-of-the-art technology - lighting are first created using high-tech machinery and then refined by hand, with attention to every detail. Franco believes that quality design should not only be beautiful and functional, but also affordable and sustainable. Today, the ZAVA brand is a symbol of Italian know-how, where industrial precision is combined with a human touch. Interestingly, most of the products are still created directly in their workshops in northern Italy, guaranteeing quality control and authenticity of each piece.
