The CosimaFloor light by Italian company Zava, designed by Cédric Davies, represents the very essence of light - its purest essence. In this design, light is transformed into an object that shines on its own. Cosima is formed by a simple beam of light enclosed between two satin brass or aluminium fasteners, without any superfluous details. It is a minimalist and elegant light that stands out for its pure form and serene aesthetic. It is offered in several lengths and versions, including pendant, wall, ceiling, floor and exterior versions.

Inspiration from the film world

Cédric Davies designed Cosima with a flair for light that he developed during his work in the film and television industry as a lighting designer. His experience of environments where light shapes atmosphere and tells a story has been translated into a design that uses light not just as a functional element, but as the protagonist of a space. In this way, Cosima almost looks like a film frame - simple but visually powerful.

Universal design for every space

Cosima is not only aesthetically impressive, but also extremely flexible. Thanks to the various versions - pendant, wall, ceiling, floor and exterior - light can be adapted to almost any environment, from modern interiors to architecturally distinctive exteriors. The minimalist design without unnecessary embellishments allows Cosima to blend into a variety of styles while retaining its unique identity.

Designed by Cèdric Davies

Cédric Davies is a designer who discovered his passion for light while working as a lighting designer on film and television productions. In 2006, he founded a company in Munich specialising in electrical installations, followed by DAVIES GmbH, a lighting design and consultancy company, in 2013. Combining technical expertise with creative design, Davies creates professionally designed lighting systems that are precisely tailored to the needs of specific clients.
