Here, designer Franco Zavarise has masterfully combined Italian attention to detail with the serene aesthetic of the North.

DALI technology for smart lighting

One of the distinct advantages of the Meta lighting is its compatibility with DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) technology. This system enables digital lighting control - for example, continuous dimming, timing or connection to a smart home. As a result, light can easily respond to the different needs of the user and the changing atmosphere of the space.

Designed by Franco Zavarise

Franco Zavarise, born in 1960 in Mareeba, Australia, is the visionary founder of the Italian brand ZAVA, which he founded in 1982 with the aim of turning his passion for light and working with metal into unique lighting. After completing his technical studies, he decided to design lighting for his friends, which became the germ of the entire brand. From the very beginning, Zavarise combines his deep experience in metalworking with an instinctive sense of design. At ZAVA's headquarters, traditional craftsmanship meets state-of-the-art technology - lighting are first created using high-tech machinery and then refined by hand, with attention to every detail. Franco believes that quality design should not only be beautiful and functional, but also affordable and sustainable. Today, the ZAVA brand is a symbol of Italian know-how, where industrial precision is combined with a human touch. Interestingly, most of the products are still created directly in their workshops in northern Italy, guaranteeing quality control and authenticity of each piece.
